About the RoleThis is a part-time or full-time opportunity to work as a Breast Imaging Radiologist in our state-of-the-art facilities. You will be responsible for performing a full scope of breast imaging examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Additionally, you will be involved in core needle biopsies and surgical localizations at Ochsner New Orleans South Shore hospitals and outpatient facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform breast imaging examinations, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI
- Interpret imaging results and provide diagnostic reports
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in resident supervision and academic responsibilities at the Lieselotte Tansey Breast Center at Ochsner and Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway
- Contribute to the development and implementation of breast imaging protocols and guidelines
- Board certification or eligibility in radiology
- Experience in breast imaging, preferably with a fellowship or extensive experience in the field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
