Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the nursing needs of patients and initiating appropriate interventions in the Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Radiology Departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Maintain current licensure and certification requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Missouri or registry eligible
- Previous Cardiac Cath lab, ICU, ED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model
- BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- HRHS Certification for Moderate Sedation (Required within 6 months of hire)
- Proficient in IV initiation and assessment skills
- Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards
- Capable of lifting and positioning patients and equipment
