CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Goodwin Recruiting. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, manual equipment, and drill presses. You will also be responsible for uploading and running programs, properly installing and removing tooling, and calculating and setting controls to regulate machining factors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC equipment, manual equipment, and drill presses
• Upload and run programs
• Properly install and remove tooling
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors
• Audit first-piece samples
• Perform visual and measurement checks to maintain quality output of parts
• Make program adjustments or offsets to ensure processes are complete and quality of parts are met

Requirements:

• H.S. diploma/GED required and 2-3 years of CNC mill or lathe experience, including setup
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools
• Familiarity with Solidworks and Mastercam
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, understand GD & T
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and positive attitudes
