Interventional Radiology Technologist

We require the following certifications for this role:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- ARRT Advanced Cert (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Advanced Certification)
- ARRT VI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Vascular Intervention)
This is a travel radiology technologist position with a focus on interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in special procedures, including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies.
Call RequirementsThis position requires float and on-call shifts, with varying schedules during the week and every other 6th weekend. Call requirements include one day during the week and every 4th to 5th weekend, with a rotating weekend schedule depending on staffing.
Unit InformationThis position is located in the interventional radiology department at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. The unit accepts first-time travelers and requires a minimum of one year of experience in IR/angiography/special procedures. The maximum RTO (Relocation Travel Overage) is 7 days.
