Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Precision Fluorocarbon Inc (PFI) is a leading manufacturer of custom plastics. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Conduct dimensional and mechanical inspections to ensure workmanship and specifications are met.
  • Plan and execute projects, selecting approaches and methods to solve problems.
  • Conduct preliminary inspections and receiving checks to identify deficiencies in systems, structures, assemblies, or parts.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to eliminate hold-ups, rework, and ensure specification conformance.
  • Interpret technical specifications, directives, and publications to identify discrepancies and deficiencies.
  • Assemble information and materials necessary to effectively accomplish planning, scheduling, inspection, and reporting.
  • Conduct audits, submitting reports and recommendations.
  • Operate CMM and adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Accurately document time worked and job activity in the Quality system.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Trade or Technical Certification or higher desired.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role in a like environment.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods and instruments.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of sampling plans and statistics.
  • Working knowledge of assembly processes and procedures and manufacturing theory and principles.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet applications software.
Preferred Skills:
  • ASQ certified.
  • Ability to operate CMM, OGP, and Faro.
Work Environment:

The employee is occasionally subjected to fumes or airborne particles and is usually in a moderate noise level environment.
