Property Claims Adjuster

Overview:

The Field Adjuster I plays a crucial role in assessing and managing property claims for clients, ensuring adherence to both client and organizational standards. This position demands a commitment to delivering prompt, precise, equitable, and professional service while achieving a high level of efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage all assigned claims with a high degree of independence
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged properties and evaluate claim-related losses
• Make informed decisions within the scope of authority as outlined by company policies
• Implement appropriate claims procedures to resolve claims in accordance with company protocols
• Establish adequate reserves in line with carrier requirements
• Remain informed about insurance policies, carrier standards, repair methodologies, and market pricing
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to claims management
• Provide outstanding customer service to all clients
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred; a High School diploma is mandatory
• Possession of a valid adjuster license for the relevant state
• Valid driver's license required for travel purposes
• 2-3 years of experience in property claims handling
• Familiarity with Xactimate and Symbility software
• Understanding of insurance policies, construction principles, and related concepts
• Physical capability to perform field-related tasks
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Capability to operate within client-specific guidelines
