Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our team. As a Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting in the oversight of approximately 30 FTEs, taking on both bench responsibilities and assisting the Lab Director with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist in the oversight of laboratory staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Assist the Lab Director with administrative tasks, including budgeting, staffing, and quality control.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Medical Technologist (MT) with 3-5 years of supervisory or lead experience in a hospital lab setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
