Job Summary

Vincennes University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Coach to join our team. As a Learning Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in need, focusing on academic tutoring and resource development.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to monitor student progress and develop effective plans to address student weaknesses and strengths.
  • Assist students in developing study skills and habits, and provide guidance on how to learn and achieve academic success.
  • Evaluate student progress and document improvements or identify additional areas for support.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, students, and counselors regarding student progress and provide ongoing support.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Earned Baccalaureate degree required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations and families.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a K-12 or post-secondary setting.
  • Knowledge of general office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to learn and operate Learning Management Systems.
