Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bellflower, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Speech Pathologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children for a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Advise physicians of test results and recommend and implement appropriate treatments.
  • Monitor patient progress and collaborate with physicians when altering treatment programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in the development of department policies and procedures.
  • Develop and present in-service programs in area of specialty.
  • Perform diagnostic clinical swallowing evaluations and interpret results.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
