Restaurant Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team at The Madison Concourse Hotel. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses from the kitchen and service bars
  • Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving
  • Observe diners, respond to any additional requests, and determine when the meal has been completed
  • Total the bill and process payment
  • Ladle soup, dish salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services as necessary
  • Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course
  • Wrap silverware and complete other side work
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to work Thursday-Monday mornings from 6:15am-2pm
  • Availability to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and reference checks
