About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Technical Agronomy team as a Research Agronomy Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the development of innovative agronomic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and execution of agronomic trials to improve Syngenta seed customers' experience
  • Gain a deeper understanding of fundamental trial design and execution to answer specific agronomic questions
  • Collaborate with the Research Trialing operations team to perform hand pollinations and supervise seasonal labor
  • Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors regarding project status and work activities
  • Participate in customer experience events, including field days, to showcase Syngenta's innovation in seed development
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Ag Business, or a closely related field
  • Understanding and use of modern agronomic practices
  • Ability to work in high or low temperature conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
