About the Role:
The Pharmacy Manager at Walmart is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacies. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care, while also driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals to provide exceptional patient care and service.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and profitability in the pharmacy department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Board of Pharmacy statutes.
- Manage inventory and supply chain operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications:
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
