At Hire Health, we are seeking highly skilled and dedicated EMTs or Paramedics to join our team. As a critical member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls to render medical attention to patients and provide safe and timely transportation to the appropriate destination.
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide basic life support as needed.
- Operate emergency medical equipment, such as defibrillators and oxygen tanks, to provide life-saving interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest medical protocols and procedures.
- Current EMT-B, I, or AEMT certification from a state or national certifying agency.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment, such as ambulances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
