**Job Summary**

Adams Dearborn is seeking a highly skilled SCADA Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our renewable energy division, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement SCADA requirements to ensure compliance with NERC Reliability Standards
  • Coordinate with international teams to design and implement fiber optic circuits, networks, and communication infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement network solutions
  • Resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Work with project managers and construction managers to ensure timely and quality SCADA installation schedules
  • Consult with IT departments and partners to ensure SCADA communication reliability and cyber-security
  • Develop and provide leadership on data acquisition projects and communication methodologies
  • Ensure proper coordination of SCADA-related consultants, contractors, and equipment during commissioning phases
  • Inspect work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Provide SCADA status reports and train staff on SCADA functionality

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • Knowledge of generation SCADA systems acquired through 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience
