Mercy Hospital Springfield, MO is seeking a highly skilled Hyperbaric Specialist to join our team in the Wound Care department. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of hyperbaric chambers and related support systems.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in respiratory therapy or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate hyperbaric chambers and related support systems safely and effectively.
- Monitor patient responses during treatment and report any concerns to physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy or a related field.
- Active certification or licensure in one of the following fields: Respiratory Therapist, Corpsman (Military), Medical Services Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, EMT-Basic Paramedic, Registered Nurse, LPN, LVN Certified, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft products and ability to learn software quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Mercy Hospital Springfield, MO offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
