Job Title: Neurovascular Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurovascular Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Neurovascular Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Neurovascular Unit.

Job Summary:

The Neurovascular Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with neurological and vascular disorders. This includes providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' neurological and vascular conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
