Job Summary:
Fann Contracting is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobil Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, routine maintenance, and large-scale repair procedures on our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Repair and maintain trailers, including side dump trailers and oil tankers
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy trucks, including Mack trucks and Freightliners
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient and safe repair procedures
Requirements:
- Experience with diesel engine and transmission repair
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical wiring diagnostics
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy trucks and trailers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
