About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop, enhance, and analyze digital geographical data, and assemble it into real-time visual databases for flight and ground simulation. The successful candidate will be part of a team that builds virtual environments for Special Operations Forces ground and air simulators, providing operational intelligence support for integrated SOF mission planning and rehearsal.

Responsibilities

• Produces, develops, monitors, manages, and performs GIS data editing tasks, processes, and workflows.
  
  
• Edits and creates geospatial informational (GIS) data in support of 3D simulation projects.
  
  
• Utilizes ArcGIS tools (ArcPro) to solve spatial problems and troubleshoots and resolves GIS data issues and processes.
  
  
• Ensures quality control is performed on all data that has been digitized for each data project.
  
  
• Helps validate the geospatial accuracy and certifies the use of intelligence data in the completed project.
  
  
• Utilizes ArcGIS Enterprise to design geodatabase architecture and workflows.
  
  

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with a strong background in geospatial database administration, GIS fundamentals, and experience working with ESRI ArcGIS suite of software. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with a combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to a degree and required years of experience may be acceptable.
