- Analyzes and correlates previous imaging records of patients utilizing specialized terminology.
- Prepares individuals for imaging procedures and offers detailed explanations to alleviate concerns.
- Conducts mammography and radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Supports physicians during specialized breast examinations or interventions.
- Observes patient conditions and communicates any irregularities.
- Ensures accurate documentation and transfer of imaging data.
- Maintains imaging apparatus and oversees supply inventory.
- Upholds cleanliness and organization within the procedure area.
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from the New York State Department of Health.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
The salary range and/or hourly rate provided is a genuine assessment of potential base compensation that may be offered to a qualified candidate for this role at the time of this job posting and is subject to change. When establishing a team member's base salary and/or rate, various factors may be taken into account, including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated agreements, budget considerations, and internal equity.
