Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Outpatient Dietitian to join our team. This role focuses on providing nutritional care primarily for patients with diabetes and renal conditions. The ideal candidate will apply evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integrate current evidence-based research into nutrition practice, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.
2. Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Deliver specialized nutrition care for designated programs.
4. Ensure client satisfaction and quality service through effective resource management.
5. Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal and state guidelines, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
2. State licensure as mandated.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
4. Preferred experience of 1-3 years in a similar role.
5. Willingness to engage in patient satisfaction initiatives is preferred.
6. Experience with special diets and food allergies is advantageous.
