Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health in White Plains, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and positions patients correctly for specific examinations
Assists physicians during procedures as necessary
Performs quality assurance and calibrations as needed
Maintains the cleanliness of all areas, equipment, and accessories
Reports all malfunctioning equipment to the MRI supervisor
Prints patient CDs if needed
Performs routine office duties, such as answering phones and checking previous reports
Notifies front desk staff upon exam completion
Shows radiologists images and calls reports to attending physicians and documents communication if necessary
May be assigned as instructor or preceptor
Introduces themselves and educates patients or family members regarding the examination ordered
Attends staff meetings and in-services
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and ARMRIT
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
IV certification preferred
MRI safety certification level 2 required
Must graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
