We are seeking a skilled and experienced Critical Care Travel Nurse to join our team at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. As a Critical Care Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a variety of settings, including intensive care units and step-down units.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
- Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with CRRT, vents, IV start, triage, PA lines, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including float positions.
