Job Description:

Job Summary:

  • Verifies physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Operates computed tomography equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
  • Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards
  • Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations

Requirements:

  • Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Experience with computed tomography procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
