Job Description:Job Summary:
- Verifies physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
- Operates computed tomography equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
- Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards
- Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
- Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations
Requirements:
- Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Experience with computed tomography procedures and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
