POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- This is a full-time position with a first shift schedule, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- The role offers the chance to work in a clinically enriching environment, providing intake assessments, individual therapy, crisis intervention, suicide risk evaluations, case management, and various clinical services.
- Engagement in collaborative discharge planning with external support services and participation in research-driven programs is encouraged.

The MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution is a high-security facility recognized for its structured environment, designed to manage a diverse population of long-term sentenced offenders and those in protective custody.
- The facility emphasizes educational programs, including ABE, Pre-GED, GED, and vocational training.

JOB CLASS PURPOSE
This role is accountable for providing consultation, program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration in community or inpatient settings, focusing on ongoing psychotherapy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's degree in psychiatric and/or mental health nursing, along with two years of experience working with individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
- Eligibility for participation in federal health care programs must be maintained.
- Travel may be necessary for this position.
