Job Summary

We are seeking a Finish and Adhesive Tech. Trainee to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

Work with chemicals and adhesives daily, ensuring a safe and efficient production process.
Develop and teach others how to apply, mix, and use various materials and chemicals.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize shoe manufacturing processes.
Learn and apply different adhesives and chemicals for shoe application, upper, and sole application.
Participate in quality control measures to ensure high-quality products.
Travel to Acuna, Mexico, when necessary to support international operations.

Requirements

A self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to take on new challenges.
A mature, cooperative, and responsible individual with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
Meet or exceed expectations in all PDQCS categories.
Highly motivated and able to follow instructions.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Physical Demands

Physical labor required for 8 hours or more per day, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work with hazardous and non-hazardous materials using proper protective equipment.
Excellent vision to inspect product quality.

Education and Experience

Experience in shoemaking/manufacturing and production facilities.
A strong interest or passion for manufacturing and long-term development in the shoe manufacturing industry.
