Café Associate

Job Summary

As a Caf Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in preparing fresh food items daily for our members. Your responsibilities will include following recipes, preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken, and ensuring our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. You will also be responsible for sweeping, labeling, and storing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized area, including sweeping, labeling, and storing merchandise.
• Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification preferred.
