Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Strive Senior Living, LLC. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus and recipes
• Ensure that all food is served at the correct temperature and is presented in an appealing manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas
• Assist with food inventory management and ordering
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents.
