The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in roadway design and project management. They will be responsible for performing assigned roadway design duties, coordinating with project managers and team members, and visiting work sites during design and construction phases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing roadway design duties for successful project delivery
  • Coordinating with project managers and team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Visiting work sites during design and construction phases to ensure projects are progressing as planned

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Georgia PE certification is preferred
  • Experience with Microstation, InRoads, and OpenRoads software is preferred
  • Exposure to or experience with GDOT design criteria
