The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Engineer/Structural Professional to join our team in Miami, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing forensic investigations, report preparation, and expert testimony for building components. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage forensic investigations, including site visits, inspections, and data collection
- Prepare comprehensive field reports detailing observations, measurements, and findings
- Review and interpret drawings, codes, specifications, project manuals, and material specifications
- Generate expert reports providing in-depth analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
- Interpret and specify testing, including material testing, structural analysis, and performance evaluations
- Supervise testing activities and ensure accurate data collection
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team throughout the design and construction phases
- Perform and coordinate design, calculations, and drawings
- Oversee and assist in the development and review of technical specifications, drawings, and construction documents
- Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- Four plus years of experience in the architectural and engineering consulting industry
- Must have experience as an expert witness
- Professional Engineer license required
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred
- Valid United States Driver's License required
