We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team at Affiliated Construction Services, Inc. (ACS). As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for various industries, including automotive, aerospace, energy, and manufacturing.
  • Program and integrate Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from leading manufacturers such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, and Wago.
  • Develop and review wiring schematics and control panel layout drawings.
  • Assist with specifying instrumentation, including flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurement devices.
  • Work with suppliers and internal Purchasing to procure instrumentation and controls equipment for projects.
  • Perform system functionality tests on equipment in our manufacturing facility and at customer sites.
  • Develop Operation Manual for the control system and assist with creating project-wide Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems design.
  • Knowledge of control signals, including basic signal circuit design.
  • Experience with CAD software, AutoCAD Electrical software preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze risks and hazards.
  • Ability to perform detailed design work.
  • Expected to meet client deadlines.
