Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier/Recept-Service to join our team at Manchester Subaru. As a key member of our dealership administration, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Identify the service consultant/sales manager with which they have an appointment.
  • Place an identification number on vehicles to identify the proper service salesperson.
  • Pull up or obtain a repair order for each customer and complete the administrative portion of it.
  • Assist with incoming telephone calls when necessary.
  • Assist the service salesperson in contacting customers with appointments one day prior to their appointments.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls according to company policies and good telephone etiquette.
  • Direct telephone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary.
  • Take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending messages.
  • Assist the service sales staff in contacting customers whose vehicles have been completed.
  • Make a copy of all applicable production scheduling forms at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm to assist in directing calls to the appropriate service sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Keeps current on new products and product updates.
  • Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times, including work areas.
  • Complies with all Prime attendance policies.
  • Reports to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers, or employees.
  • Be courteous and helpful to all customers and obtain immediate assistance for situations needing service management.

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participates in all training programs, as appropriate.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
