Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Content and Automation Tools Lead to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting in-house automation content and tool solutions that can scale across nodes and users. This role will also involve leading the design and development of validation test content and frameworks, as well as configuration management to leverage across a variety of system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and support of in-house automation content and tool solutions that can scale across nodes and users
Lead in the design and development of validation test content and frameworks as well as configuration management to leverage across a variety of system configurations
Engage multi-disciplinary stakeholders for requirement gathering and issue resolving driving towards a common solution space
Develop deep understanding of upcoming AMD Platforms, SOCs, IPs, tools, and programming libraries to create relevant and cohesive solutions leading to large scale validation and test system deployments

Requirements

Strong software, hardware, and system validation and debug experience in functional domains as well as at cross-domain and system levels
Deep understanding of validation test requirements, constraints, and coverage
Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies
Proven track record of developing and architecting Python and other object-oriented based solutions in a team environment
Power user of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, containers, etc.
Experienced with creating modular and maintainable code adhering to best practices
Experience with other languages, web development, REST, and databases is an asset
Experience in data analytics and report generation is an asset
Experience in cross-OS development in Linux and Windows environment preferred

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
