We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team, dedicated to helping us achieve our vision of the healthiest kids in the country.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic eye anatomy and physiology, as well as Ophthalmic tests and procedures. National certification by the Joint Commission of Allied Health Professionals in Ophthalmology is a plus.
Responsibilities include administering and performing diagnostic tests, providing instruction to patients with correctable vision focusing defects, and working collaboratively with coworkers, physicians, children, and their families.

**Requirements:**
- Knowledge of basic eye anatomy and physiology
- Ophthalmic tests and procedures
- National certification by the Joint Commission of Allied Health Professionals in Ophthalmology
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
**Certifications/Licenses:**
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Health & Safety Association
