Job Summary

As a Hazmat Truck Driver at CHS, you will be responsible for delivering commodities to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Commodities: Safely transport bulk liquid products to customer locations, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Complete Daily Maintenance Reports: Accurately document daily maintenance activities and notify the shop supervisor of any needed repairs.
  • Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Thoroughly inspect vehicles and equipment before and after each trip to ensure safe operation.
  • Load and Unload Products: Utilize loading arms and hoses to efficiently load and unload products.
  • Maintain Electronic Logs and On-Board Computer: Accurately record and maintain electronic logs and on-board computer data for each shipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with customers, shop supervisors, and other team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately complete daily maintenance reports and maintain electronic logs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
