Mortgage Loan Originator

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team at Hometown Lenders. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and sales leads by cultivating relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other referral partners.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Structure mortgage loans for customers
• Build relationships with referral partners to identify new business opportunities
• Coordinate with the team to ensure efficient loan processing
• Solicit self-generated contacts for residential mortgage loans to meet production goals
• Participate in community events to promote mortgage products and services
• Continually expand referral base to maintain sufficient production goals
• Perform all lending activities in compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal departments and staff
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of mortgage loan products and services
• Protect sensitive borrower information
