Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, including progress notes and medication records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Perform and document rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
  • Report changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Assist with specimen collection for diagnostic testing, following proper protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare documentation for patient transfers to other institutions or facilities, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and medical procedures.
Requirements
  • CNA Certificate or CNA State License required.
  • BLS certification required.
