**Bartender Job Description**

Our ideal candidate will possess basic math skills, have the ability to handle money, and be able to work at a quick pace and fast speed, yet under control. They will also be able to remain standing for long periods of time, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Prior restaurant experience is required, and must be age 21 or older and have TABC certification (acquired or in process).

Responsibilities include managing bar setup, operation, and closing duties, taking drink orders from guests, mixing and serving drinks according to recipes, handling cash drawer and entering orders into POS, working closely with Bar Manager to maintain inventory and supplies, ensuring clean and attractive display of glassware and bottles, maintaining professional appearance and customer care at a fine dining level, suggesting beverages when applicable and ensuring accuracy of server tickets, knowing all bar prices and checking IDs of questionable customers, following health and safety regulations, controlling waste, and communicating issues to management, maintaining equipment, washing glassware, and keeping the bar area clean, following rotation procedures for product freshness, taking ownership of issues, resolving promptly, and involving management if needed, and ensuring a crumb-free and food-free closing of the establishment.
