We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Residential Caregiver to join our team at Optalis Healthcare in West Bloomfield. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents.


About the Job:

  • This part-time position is approximately 20 hours per week and involves performing various tasks such as dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, and general areas.
  • You will be responsible for processing and transporting laundry and linen throughout the facility, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment that complies with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • We require strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with current identification.
  • Prior experience in long-term care or hotel environments is preferred, but not necessary.
  • You must have excellent personal hygiene and be able to think critically and work effectively in a sometimes stressful environment.
