Job Title: Class A CDL Delivery Truck Driver

At Performance Food Group, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food and food-related products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
