The Nurse Manager - Med Surg Medical is a key leadership position at LifeBridge Health, responsible for overseeing the Med Surg Medical unit. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing and organizational leaders to achieve and sustain high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient throughput, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director and other leaders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that support patient-centered care.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive nursing management experience.
- Current RN license and ACLS certification.
- National certification in area of specialty preferred.
