POSITION SUMMARY:
The Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver direct and personalized nursing care to a designated group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider. The LPN will monitor, document, and communicate medical information and nursing interventions in the electronic health record. The LPN will educate patients and their families in accordance with established teaching plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the coordination of tailored patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or hold a multistate LPN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to the completion of orientation.
