About the Role:

The Gas SCADA Engineer/Analyst will be an integral part of the Gas Transmission and Storage (GTS) Operations team, collaborating closely with Gas Control, Gas Measurement, and Gas Technicians while supporting the Gas Engineering division. This role involves the programming and upkeep of the GTS Gas SCADA system and the GTS Flow Cal gas measurement system. Additionally, the Engineer/Analyst will contribute to the design of metering and regulating stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics.
  • Ensure actions align with company values and strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement Gas SCADA displays, alarms, RTU programming, and data exchange.
  • Work independently and mentor others as needed.
  • Engage in field operations as required.
  • Travel up to 10% to various operational groups on short notice.
  • Perform tasks in both office and field environments, including occasional lifting.

Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering design, support, training, and troubleshooting for Gas Transmission & Storage facilities.
  • Understand relevant federal regulations related to oil and gas.
  • Assist in the design of metering and regulating stations.
  • Design and program pressure and flow control systems.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of Gas SCADA remote terminal units.
  • Maintain inspection databases and conduct annual reviews.

Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze data to produce reliable reports.
  • Design and implement Flow Cal data exchanges.
  • Create and maintain SCADA displays and perform routine server maintenance.
  • Analyze gas volume data and assist in measurement audits.
  • Administer and maintain the gas SCADA system database.

Qualifications:

  • Strong safety record.
  • Engineer: Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields.
  • Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Gas Measurement/SCADA is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT, ASME, API, NEC, OSHA guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
