Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - KRMM hospitality. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by leading a team of employees and implementing company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of employees to achieve restaurant goals and objectives
    • Implement company policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive work environment
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • Shift Operations
    • Set up each shift for success through thorough planning and careful inspection
    • Direct and manage the shift team to ensure efficient and effective service
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma; some college or degree preferred
    • 1-year experience preferably in the food service industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
    • Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands
    • Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours
    • Must be able to see at a distance (20) feet, at close range (12 inches), distinguish between shapes and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards
  • Environmental Factors
    • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold
    • Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2 - 3 feet
