Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Opportunity

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role
  • Provide expert care to patients with high-risk pregnancies, including those with fetal anomalies, placental abnormalities, and other complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct fetal assessments, including ultrasound and other diagnostic tests, to identify potential issues and develop strategies for management.
  • Work closely with the maternal-fetal medicine team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in maternal-fetal medicine.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
  • Board Certification, or obtain certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Health System.
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
