Your Role: Oversee human resource functions at the Dyersburg facility, focusing on effective communication, managerial support, and onboarding processes for new hires.

  • Facilitates both individual and group consultations regarding employee benefits.
  • Engages in employee relations activities, including orientation for new hires, interactions within the warehouse, planning of appreciation events, flu vaccinations, biometric screenings, retirement planning, and conducting exit interviews as well as 90-day evaluations.
  • Administers local HR initiatives, encompassing recruitment, community engagement, payroll management, safety protocols, Workers' Compensation, return-to-work programs, and personnel transactions.
  • Collaborates with site managers on personnel matters, policy adherence, and training and development opportunities.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives, employing lean methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.

Role Specifics:

  • Supervision: Responsible for administrative and support staff.
  • Travel: Occasional overnight travel may be required for training, seminars, and corporate events. Must possess the ability to travel independently as necessary, utilizing various modes of transportation.
