Job Overview

ES Foundry Corp is seeking an EHS Engineer to drive the site's Environmental Health and Safety performance. The ideal candidate will possess EHS regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, and a continuous improvement leadership mindset.

The EHS Engineer will be responsible for implementing strong EHS improvement strategies to achieve regulatory requirements, advancing the site's procedure development, and driving a reduction of EHS-related risk.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DHEC, and will be able to develop and implement effective EHS programs and procedures.

The EHS Engineer will work closely with site technical, operations, and maintenance personnel to identify and mitigate EHS-related risks and will be responsible for managing assigned elements of the site's ESSH work processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS, with experience in a manufacturing operation, preferably chemical manufacturing. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental is required, and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other certifications are desired.

The EHS Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term strategies to achieve an injury/incident-free workplace and will drive site-wide risk mitigation for all environmental risk on-site.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
