Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to evidence-based practices and hospital policies.
  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, with E.R. experience preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
