Position Overview

Rome Memorial Hospital is in search of a dedicated billing clerk to manage the daily assessment, validation, and submission of claims. This role involves the review and prompt follow-up of denials, as well as routine assessments of accounts receivable and credit balances.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to staying informed about payer regulations and compliance standards.


Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in healthcare billing is advantageous. Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicaid HMO, and EPaces software is also preferred.
