We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the SAP Basis domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP systems and a willingness to engage with automation tools such as Knime or Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular Basis support in preparation for system migrations.
  • Modify RFC destinations to facilitate load balancing ahead of migrations.
  • Ensure the operational integrity of RFC destinations is maintained.
  • Set the Unicode flag for inbound and outbound RFCs, enabling or disabling as necessary.
  • Utilize existing mechanisms for inventory management of RFC destinations, including ownership verification and reporting.
  • Gather data on system integrations and connections prior to migration.
  • Assist in troubleshooting defects and incidents as required.
  • Report weekly accomplishments and outline planned activities for the upcoming week, including any assistance needed.
Desirable Skills:
  • Proactive engagement and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
