Lithia Motors is seeking an experienced Warranty Specialist to join our Service Department. As part of a large network of dealerships, we provide exceptional benefits and career growth opportunities that are unmatched in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare warranty repair orders in compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Identify and input relevant labor operation codes, failure codes, and other necessary administrative data on repair orders.
  • Assign the appropriate technicians for the hours worked on completed operations, ensuring accurate tracking of adjustments.
  • Review each repair order against vehicle service histories to prevent duplicate claims and ensure proper processing.
  • Manage all returned, rejected, or adjusted warranty claims, diligently tracking each until resolution.
  • Engage with warranty claims representatives for claims needing additional authorization or special assistance.
  • Oversee the use of special warranty programs to prevent misuse by service and technical staff.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Automotive Warranty - REQUIRED
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members
  • Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations
  • Familiarity with computer systems
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $48.00, with actual pay determined by skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
